iPhone 18 Pro Max Can Charge 100% in 55 Minutes, Test Shows

Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro Max charges exceptionally fast, according to a recent test. The YouTube channel Xiaobai's Tech Reviews conducted the test and found that the iPhone 18 Pro Max can charge to 100% in about 55 minutes. That's a massive 26-minute improvement over the 81-minute time reported for the iPhone 17 Pro Max following a separate trial.

Xiaobai's Tech Reviews charged the phone with a compatible USB-C cable and a 60W USB Power Delivery 3.1 adapter with Adjustable Voltage Supply. In the video below, the iPhone 18 Pro Max reaches a peak charging input of about 52W during the first 12 minutes. As expected, charging power fell as the battery level rose, but it still got to 50% capacity in 15 minutes.

Apple itself doesn't claim that the phones can reach 100% in 55 minutes. Interestingly, another...
