iOS 27’s Call Context Feature Makes Customer Service Calls Smoother
Apple's newly released iOS 27 introduces a phone feature called Call Context, and it could save you some frustration during your next conversation with customer service. The feature displays contextual information during relevant calls by digging through your Mail, Wallet, Maps, and other apps for details that match the number you're calling. These bits of information could include order numbers, flight information, appointment times, and more.
Call Context is designed to help users avoid switching apps mid-call to find reference information, resulting in a smoother, more efficient call experience. Crucially, this feature bases its results on the phone number you dial, not the audio of your conversation.
Call Context only works on iPhones and iPads that have Apple Intelligence enabled. Apple says the feature supports English at launch, with more languages planned for later.
