Intel's next-gen Nova Lake CPUs may end up relying far more heavily on Intel Foundry than previously believed, according to a new analyst report from KeyBanc Capital Markets and posted on X by @Alex_Intel_ and @intelfabs. While earlier rumors suggested Intel would manufacture a significant portion of Nova Lake's CPU tiles at TSMC on its N2P process, KeyBanc now believes the company has shifted course and plans to produce the vast majority of those tiles internally on Intel 18A.

Up to this point, the prevailing expectation among leakers and supply chain watchers was that Intel would split Nova Lake productionbetween its own fabs and TSMC's. Most of the major rumormongers agreed that Intel would manufacture many of the non-CPU tiles itself, but that the CPU compute tile would remain at TSMC for a substantial portion of the lineup. KeyBanc now argues that the balance has swung dramatically in Intel's...
