Ingram Micro India Partners With Yubico As Demand For Passwordless, Phishing-Resistant Security Rises
Ingram Micro India has announced a strategic distribution partnership with Yubico, a company known for phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication (MFA) and passkey solutions, as enterprises across India increase investments in identity-first cybersecurity amid rising credential-based cyberattacks.
The partnership comes at a time when organizations are facing a growing number of phishing attacks, ransomware incidents, credential theft, and account takeover attempts. These threats are increasingly exposing the limitations of traditional passwords and SMS-based authentication. According to the Sophos CISO Report 2026, global cybercrime costs are expected to reach USD 12.2 trillion annually by 2031, pushing enterprises to strengthen identity security and access controls.
Under the partnership, Ingram Micro India, the cybersecurity distributor, will distribute Yubico’s full portfolio of hardware-backed authentication products, including the YubiKey 5 Series, Bio Series, and Security Keys, through its channel partner ecosystem.
