Infosys Names Ashiss Kumar Dash CEO-Designate
Infosys has appointed Ashiss Kumar Dash as its Chief Executive Officer-designate, choosing a three-decade company veteran to lead the IT services major through its next phase of AI-led transformation.
Dash assumes the CEO-designate role immediately and is expected to take over as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on April 1, 2027, after Salil Parekh completes his second term. The appointment is subject to the necessary statutory and shareholder approvals.
The decision provides Infosys with an extended transition period as the company navigates a technology services market increasingly shaped by generative AI, autonomous agents, cloud modernization and changing enterprise spending priorities.
