IndiaAI-Backed Soket AI Launches LOOP For Long-Running AI Agents

Bengaluru-based Soket AI, a research lab selected under the IndiaAI Mission, has introduced LOOP, an open-source agent harness designed to support AI agents working continuously on complex tasks.

Unlike conventional chatbot interactions, LOOP is designed for longer-running workflows where agents must maintain context, use tools and coordinate work across multiple sessions.

The developer preview is available on GitHub for Linux, macOS and Windows.

The Agent Harness

Much of the enterprise AI conversation has focused on the capabilities of large language models. However, as organizations begin deploying AI agents for operational tasks, model intelligence alone may not determine whether a system can perform reliably.

Agents also need infrastructure to manage execution, preserve context, access tools and recover from interruptions.

This is the layer Soket AI is targeting with LOOP.
