India and Sweden held high-level bilateral discussions at Electronics Niketan in New Delhi to expand cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI), digitalisation, and emerging technologies under the Sweden-India Technology and AI Corridor (SITAC) framework, according to reporting by DD News. Convened by the IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) alongside a delegation from Sweden, the summit focused on scaling enterprise AI, refining data governance, and accelerating industrial transformation.

The dialogue brought together senior representatives from MeitY, the Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden, and leading technology firms from both nations. The two sides discussed core focus areas including industrial AI, trusted datasets, computing infrastructure, talent development, and responsible AI deployment. Swedish officials highlighted their nation’s leadership in advanced manufacturing, industrial research, and sustainable innovation, while Indian leadership presented the expansive scale of India’s digital public infrastructure, enterprise AI capabilities, and vast pool of tech talent.
