IFS Unleashed - AI agent workflows at Kodiak cut out friction and speed resolution

A key part of the integrated IFS Intelligence platform unveiled at last week's IFS Unleashed annual conference is a library of configurable AI agent workflows. The technology comes from last year's acquisition of AI startup TheLoops and is now called IFS Loops. The vendor refers to its workflows as 'digital workers' working in 'crews', because they orchestrate the actions of various AI agents to complete an outcome. Somya Kapoor, co-founder and CEO of IFS Loops, gives an example:

A critical pump needs a bearing. In the past, that meant endless emails, phone calls, days of chasing people to get the work done. Now, the job intake manager — digital worker — creates a work order autonomously from an inbox, sends it over to the inventory replenisher [another digital worker], finds the right part, checks the inventory, sees if the bearing is in the stock or not, finds the best supplier,...
