If You Missed the High Boy Kickstarter, You Can Now Pledge on Indiegogo
As I’m sure you know, the Flipper Zero is a favorite among pretty much everyone with more than a cursory interest in technology. But it has been out for a long time now and is pretty outdated at this point. It can also be hard to use or even acquire in some places, as governments have targeted it explicitly. The High Boy is an alternative that launched a while back on Kickstarter. If you missed that campaign, you can now reserve a High Boy by pledging on Indiegogo.
The High Boy is “an open-source pocket tool designed to safely learn about Wi-Fi, RF, NFC, IR, BLE, and GPIOs,” according to the Kickstarter campaign headline. But is probably easier to think of it as a modern, upgraded Flipper Zero. You get more radios, far more processing power (dual ESP32 MCUs), a 2” full-color LCD screen, and purple.
