Knauf is one of the world's largest building materials manufacturers. Founded in 1932, the company operates more than 300 production sites across more than 90 countries, with revenues exceeding €15 billion. Its products - plasterboard, plaster, ceiling materials, insulation - go into homes, hospitals, and infrastructure projects worldwide. Unsurprisingly, behind that scale sits a supply chain of considerable complexity - Knauf typically operates its own gypsum quarries, runs its own manufacturing, recycles plenty of its materials, and manages outbound logistics to distribution networks that vary significantly by market.
