A near-perfect port of FromSoftware’s masterpiece, Elden Ring sings on Switch 2. Minimal pop-in and occasionally stuttery enemy animations are easily overlooked when performance is otherwise so slick in handheld mode. If you want to play Elden Ring on the go, this is simply the best way to do it.
Pros
- +Excellent performance both docked and in handheld mode
- +The most complete version of one of the best action-RPGs ever
- +You can now play dress-up with your horse.
Cons
- -Occasional fade-in entering a few areas
- -Enemy animations can get a little jerky when lots are on-screen
- -New content is pretty minimal
