I Tested the Three Big Voice Assistants to See Who’s Best at Predicting Weather - CNET

Ever wonder which voice assistant knows your weather the best? For the past couple of months, I’ve been testing out the big three — Amazon’s Alexa Plus, Google Gemini for Home (which is busy replacing Google Assistant) and Apple’s Siri AI — to see who gets the weather right most often. They all pull their weather data from the internet, but their sources and algorithms lead to drastically different results.

My high desert city makes an excellent review location for weather reports, from the federal cuts to weather stations and forecast funding to our many microclimates coexisting under the Cascade Mountains. It’s the perfect spot for voice assistants to test their mettle, plus the online sources they draw their weather data from, allowing us to see which is accurate in tough conditions.
