I tested the first eco-friendly phone offered to US buyers in years — I just wish it wasn't so expensive
The Fairphone 6 Plus isn't competitively priced, but it promises to be an eco-friendly phone — and one that's available, notably, in the US. Some neat design features and a rugged build are highlights, but the specs on offer here are relatively mid-range and lag behind rivals' offerings. The real competitor to the Fairphone 6 Plus is its regular sibling, as this 'Plus' model doesn't offer much that's new besides a higher price point.
