I tested a PC and Nintendo Switch 2 controller that looks like your standard Xbox gamepad — but it hides some great hardcore features that set it apart
The GuliKit KK3 Max is a capable controller with plenty of adjustments available. It’s a shame there’s no software to make these, although the various button combinations are a surprisingly viable alternative. It games well, with satisfying button presses, although the sticks and motion controls aren’t as precise as I would’ve liked. These flaws are hard to ignore at this high price point, and ultimately mean the KK3 Max fails to reach the heights of other premium gamepads.
Pros
- +Comfortable form
- +Satisfying button fell
- +Impressive on-board customizations
Cons
- -Sticks aren’t the most precise
- -Bumpers a little too high
- -Better value rivals
- -No software
