I Saw the iPhone Duo’s Crease. Barely
Pet peeves often decide whether we buy something or not. Think about clothes or shoes. That’s never been truer than when it comes to foldable phones and “the crease.” With Apple finally entering the category with the iPhone Duo, we finally get to see the phone giant’s effort to smooth things over.
While early folding phones had a lot of shortcomings, the visible crease was definitely toward the top of that list. I reviewed a number of foldables for CNET over the past seven years, and every time a new one came across my desk, my editor would ask the same question: “Does it have a crease?”
