I just tested the sequel to my favorite open earbuds ever, and their higher-res sound, ultra-compact build, and personalized EQ won me over — here’s why I’d recommend them
The Anker Soundcore AeroClip 2 are a solid upgrade over their likeable predecessor, offering higher-res audio support, better waterproofing, clearer call quality, and a more customizable sound. The main catch? They’re pricier than the original AeroClip at launch. In addition, their open-ear, cuff-style design still has its limitations, and they do require a bit of tuning to sound exciting. Still, they’re a great option for fans of the clip-on design, even when you account for the bump in price.
