I Found 4 Kitchen Items That Could Be Contaminating My Food With Microplastics
While microplastics can be found everywhere, from the air we breathe to the water we drink and the food we eat, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing we can do to reduce our exposure. To prevent microplastics from leaking into my food while I cook, I went through all my kitchen cabinets and drawers in search of common plastic tools that could be microplastic culprits. Then, I did research to figure out what microplastic-free alternatives I’d replace them with. This is what I discovered.
