Hyderabad's Startup Ecosystem Turns Its Focus To Scale
Hyderabad has spent the past decade building one of India's strongest startup ecosystems. Today, founders have access to engineering talent, quality infrastructure, research institutions, and a growing network of Global Capability Centres (GCCs). But as the ecosystem matures, the question is no longer whether startups can be created here. It is whether they can scale into globally competitive businesses.
That is the central finding of the Hyderabad Startup Readiness Index 2026, released by Endiya Partners as part of its Hyderabad Innovation Report 2026. Based on responses from 216 founders, investors, corporates, and ecosystem stakeholders, the survey gives Hyderabad an overall ecosystem confidence score of 6.5 out of 10, suggesting that while the city's foundations are strong, the next phase of growth will depend on solving different challenges.
