HP & Google Bring AI-Powered 3D Collaboration to More Workplaces

On September 23, HP and Google announced expanded availability of HP Dimension with Google Beam across the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, and Japan. The 3D video communication system uses AI to preserve visual cues lost in conventional video calls, including eye contact and body language.
The expansion gives more organizations access to a technology that has spent several years moving from Google research into commercial deployment. For CIOs, this will determine which meetings benefit from richer visual interaction and whether those use cases warrant investment in dedicated 3D collaboration systems.
