How to Know If Your Startup Is Solving a Real Problem
Hey Hackers,
Every founder wants to believe they are solving a real problem.
That belief is part of the job. You need enough conviction to build when nobody is watching, sell when nobody is buying, and keep going when the first version of your product looks nothing like the thing in your head.
But conviction can also trick you.
It can make a vague annoyance look like a massive market. It can make polite feedback sound like demand. It can make a few signups feel like proof. And before you know it, you are six months into building something people understand, maybe even admire, but do not actually need.
That is one of the most dangerous places for a startup to be.
So before you spend another month adding features, redesigning the landing page, or preparing your next launch, ask the harder question:
Is your startup solving a real problem?
