How Liberty Global switched to OneStream for AI-powered finance planning

Over the last 10 years, Liberty Global has undergone an evolution, morphing from a global cable company operating across 17 countries to an integrated communications firm in just four European countries.

Over this timeframe, the business has divested some large territories, including Chile and Puerto Rico, merged with multiple companies, and carried out two large spinoffs, all of which has materially changed the shape of the group. Whereas previously it was an integrated cable business with 100% of revenue coming from fixed line cable and broadband, now half of its revenue comes from mobile, with the other half from fixed.

The organization also has a growing portfolio of businesses called Liberty Growth, with various control structures, joint ventures, and minority interests that it’s looking to scale as it transitions to being an investment holding company with interest in Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT).
