Hosting.com 2026 Review: Fast, Reliable Hosting for Experienced Website Owners - CNET

Hosting.com’s fast servers and attractive pricing for shared and WordPress hosting can make it a decent choice for simple websites like professional portfolios and personal blogs. However, setup is overly complicated and customer support is poor, so I only recommend Hosting.com for experienced website owners or folks comfortable learning new tech.

To assess Hosting.com, I purchased a plan, built a website, tracked server speed and uptime, tested customer support and analyzed value as well as usability. During my hands-on use, I found Hosting.com a reasonable value web host with exceptional server performance but underwhelming processes that may be off-putting for newcomers.
