Hori's back in my good books with the Wireless Horipad Turbo for Nintendo Switch 2, but it's not quite a slam dunk

If you need a spare Switch 2 controller, or you don't feel like paying for the expensive official Switch 2 Pro Controller, then the Wireless Horipad Turbo is a decent stand-in. Anti-drift TMR sticks are a plus over the Pro Controller, and the robust Turbo feature is great for arcade and retro games. I'm just not huge on some elements like the mushy-feeling d-pad and triggers, and a lack of PC compatibility means that multiplatform use is strictly off the table.

Pros

  • +Great-feeling TMR sticks
  • +Solid build quality
  • +Robust Turbo function
  • +Neat button lock feature

Cons

  • -Disappointing battery life
  • -No PC compatability
  • -D-pad and triggers aren't the best
