HCLTech Names Former McKinsey Leader Jacob Dahl as Independent Director
HCLTech has appointed Jacob Christian Dahl as an Independent Director on its Board with effect from July 13, 2026, adding a global banking and strategy executive with nearly four decades of experience in financial services, governance and business transformation.
Dahl currently serves as an Independent Director at Danske Bank, one of the largest banking groups in the Nordic region. Before joining the HCLTech board, he spent more than twenty-five years at McKinsey & Company, where he held several leadership roles, including Senior Partner, Co-Leader of the Global Banking Practice and Leader of the Asia Banking Practice.
Commenting on the appointment, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Chairperson of HCLTech, said Dahl's international experience would strengthen the company's long-term growth strategy. "We are pleased to have a global leader like Jacob as part of the HCLTech Board. I am confident his experience will add tremendous value to HCLTech's growth strategy," she said.
