HBO Max: The 35 Absolute Best TV Shows to Watch - CNET
HBO Max is home to dozens of great series that are part of the prestige TV canon. Shows such as Succession, Game of Thrones and The White Lotus have earned respect from fans and critics alike, but the platform is constantly serving up new options to the streaming masses.
Shows like The Pitt, DTF St. Louis, and Hacks cleaned up at this year’s Emmy Awards, so if you haven’t checked those out yet, there’s no better time like the present. And this October marks the arrival of a few new series, including the legal drama War starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller, a new season of the Spanish series Rage, and the true-crime docuseries The Pet Cemetery Murders: A Ghost Story.
Here are some of our favorite series you shouldn’t wait to watch on HBO Max, plus a look at new releases for October.
