Google's New Dreambeans App Turns Your Personal Data Into a Daily AI Story Feed

This week, Google Labs launched the oddly named Dreambeans, an experimental app that uses Gemini's Personal Intelligence to build daily AI‑generated story feeds from users' own Google services. The mobile app, available on Android and iOS, connects to Gmail, Calendar, Photos, YouTube, and Search history to create a small set of personalized stories each day.

Google says Dreambeans focuses on surfacing what matters most to users instead of creating another infinite social or news feed. Personalized feeds combine text, recommendations, and AI illustrations based on user photos and activity. These stories can show upcoming plans, recent purchases, trips, interests, and ideas, which can lead to planning outings, following up on emails, and other individualized activities.
