Google has announced the 2026 cohort of Google Play Accelerator India, selecting 20 AI-powered startups for its three-month, equity-free accelerator program. The initiative will provide founders with hands-on support in AI integration, app quality, security, growth, and monetization. The selected companies represent sectors including education, healthcare, gaming, agriculture, finance, e-commerce, productivity, lifestyle, and entertainment.

AI-First Innovation

According to Google, the accelerator combines expertise from Google Play with the broader Google ecosystem to help Indian startups build secure, scalable, and globally relevant applications. The company said the latest cohort reflects the increasing adoption of AI by startups developing products for both Indian and international markets.
