Google rolls out Android 17 QPR1 to supported Pixel phones with new features, interface changes, security updates, and bug fixes.

Google’s latest Pixel update is about more than giving Android a fresh coat of paint.

Android 17 QPR1 is rolling out as part of Google’s September 2026 Pixel Feature Drop, bringing interface changes, bug fixes and security updates to supported Pixel phones from the Pixel 6 series through the Pixel 11 lineup. The original Pixel Fold is also included, while Google’s official availability chart does not list the Pixel Tablet.

For Pixel owners, some of the biggest reasons to install QPR1 are under the hood, including fixes targeting crashes, connectivity problems, gaming performance and other everyday annoyances.
