Google Quietly Retires the Pixel Tablet
Google has removed the Pixel Tablet from its online store. In fact, the tablet section of the site has vanished entirely.
The Pixel Tablet was marked as out of stock before the entire listing disappeared. The link to the former product page now redirects to the Google Store homepage. Retailers like Amazon and Best Buy also have limited or unavailable stock.
Google never formally announced that it was going to discontinue the Pixel Tablet, so it's unclear why the device has been quietly retired. Of course, we can speculate: The brand never iterated on the tablet, making its only version three years old. It's also definitely not Google's most popular Pixel device, and it might have sold poorly.
