Google has announced Gemini 4 Argon, a new artificial intelligence (AI) model designed to handle complex coding tasks, professional research, enterprise workflows and cybersecurity. The model is initially being made available to a limited group of trusted cyber defenders, with a broader rollout planned for developers, businesses and consumers.
Announced on September 30, Gemini 4 Argon is built to work through longer, multi-step tasks, including software development, financial research, legal drafting and security vulnerability detection. Google said the model can analyse large amounts of information and carry out tasks that require several stages of reasoning.
