Getting to know Hyland - taking on ubiquitous noise and complexity

Hyland may be one of those large software firms that has been around a while (circa 1991) but you might not be familiar with – let’s change that!

Hyland has grown both organically and inorganically over the years. Today, the company has over 15,000 customers, $1.35 billion in revenue, and over 700 global partners.

Hyland has historically been focused on several verticals, mostly in regulated industries. I sat in a couple of health care breakout sessions and the Hyland expertise and industry relevance shone through loud and clear.

Here’s what I saw in just one day at Hyland’s recent user conference.

Setting the tone

Hyland executives noted the business/AI world of today. They summarized it in this one phrase: The era of ubiquitous noise and complexity.

That seemed like a fair, honest assessment. For my two cents, I would have added the word “hyperbolic” right after ubiquitous...
