Geniatech Targets Industrial Smarts with the Raspberry Pi CM5-Compatible XPI-3576-CM5 Module
Embedded computing specialist Geniatech has launched a computer-on-module designed for embedded machine learning and industrial computing, built to be pin-compatible with existing Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 carriers: the XPI-3576-CM5.
"[The] Geniatech XPI-3576-CM5 is a Rockchip RK3576-based Raspberry Pi CM5-compatible compute module for industrial AI [Artificial Intelligence] and embedded systems," the company says of its latest module. "With a compact 55×40mm [around 2.17×1.57"] footprint and board-to-board connector design, it delivers a true drop-in upgrade for existing CM5 carrier boards."

The Rockchip RK3576 system-on-chip at the heart of the compact module features eight processing cores, split across four high-performance Arm Cortex-A72 cores running at up to 2.2GHz and four more-efficient Cortex-A53 cores running at up to 1.8GHz.
