Freshworks Q1 2026 revenue rose 16% to USD 228.6M, but losses and a 500-employee layoff underline its shift toward AI-led efficiency and long-term profitability.

Freshworks reported revenue of USD 228.6 million for the first quarter of 2026, a 16% increase year-on-year. Growth was driven by demand for its Employee Experience (EX) platform and AI Copilot offerings. However, the company posted a GAAP operating loss of USD 8.1 million, narrowing slightly from the USD 10.4 million loss in Q1 2025.
