Fortinet Expands FortiGate G Series With New 1200G Firewall And FortiSASE Outpost
Fortinet has expanded its FortiGate G Series portfolio with the launch of the FortiGate 1200G and FortiSASE Outpost, a new offering designed to combine high-performance firewall capabilities with cloud-delivered Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). The company said the solution is aimed at enterprises managing AI workloads, hybrid infrastructure, and growing regulatory requirements by allowing organizations to decide where security inspection and policy enforcement take place.
FortiGate 1200G is expected to become available in the third quarter of 2026.
Built For AI Workloads
The FortiGate 1200G is powered by Fortinet's latest FortiASIC architecture and is designed for enterprise campuses, data centers, and hybrid environments. It supports 10G, 25G, and 100G connectivity while incorporating hardware-rooted security protections intended to strengthen platform integrity.
