Flock AI Now Tracking People Based on Behavior
For years, Flock Safety, a leading vehicle surveillance company, has marketed its technology as simply reading license plates. This technology entered the marketplace as a tool for "crime prevention", although it's not entirely clear how that works. A recent investigative report has blown that claim apart, revealing a far more insidious capability. Flock’s “OS Investigate” software can now identify, track, and even profile individuals purely based on their movements. All this occurring seemingly without any crime needing to be reported. The breach of privacy and civil liberties is staggering, raising the unsettling question of whether our late-night unsupervised Taco Bell runs are now a thing of the past.
