Flipkart Minutes May Double Its Dark Store Footprint By 2027: UBS
According to a UBS report, Walmart-owned Flipkart’s quick commerce arm Minutes could add another 1,000 dark stores by mid-2027, or around the Big Billion Days sale in 2027. If that expansion materializes, it could take the network to around 2,000 stores, nearly doubling its current footprint.
But the proposed expansion comes with an important condition. UBS said the rollout would depend on the performance of individual markets and the development of supporting hubs and backend infrastructure.
That makes this less of a simple store-count story and more of a test of how efficiently Flipkart can build a quick-commerce network around the data and customer base it already has.
The Store Count Is Only Part Of The Story
