Mozilla's Firefox 155 and subsidiary MZLA's Thunderbird 155 have arrived. Yes, already.
Firefox officially debuted yesterday, although The Reg FOSS desk wasn't offered the upgrade until early evening. Thunderbird followed several hours later.
If this seems soon after the previous releases, that's because it is. Mozilla announced Firefox's new fortnightly cadence in July, and MZLA subsequently confirmed that Thunderbird would keep pace. September marks the start of the accelerated schedule.
Much of the new shiny in Firefox 154 was of interest mainly to the subset of its audience – Windows users and gamers – and this time around, the new features in Firefox 155 are again restricted to one specialist sector of its audience: that which this vulture refers to as bot-lickers and prompt-fondlers.
