Fan-Favourite Xbox CEO Brings is Killing Copilot for Xbox – and Gamers Are in Awe

Microsoft has reportedly scrapped its Gaming Copilot AI plans for Xbox consoles and the Xbox mobile app. Xbox had previously said that Gaming Copilot would come to Xbox Series X and Series S later in 2026 after initial availability on PC, the Xbox mobile app, and handheld devices.

And, now with the change in the leadership, and as announced by the new Xbox CEO, Xbox will now wind down Copilot in the mobile app and stop work on bringing it to consoles, so players should not expect integrated Copilot assistance on their Xbox systems.
