Fairphone is selling directly in the United States for the first time, with the $650 Gen 6+ and its twelve user-replaceable parts. The Dutch company is entering a market with no equivalent of the EU repairability rules that took effect last year.

The hardware is midrange on purpose. A Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 drives a 6.31in LTPO OLED that swings from 10Hz to 120Hz and peaks at 1,400 nits, with 256GB of storage and a microSD slot behind it.
