Eternal Q2 Profit Jumps 92% to ₹125 Crore; Blinkit Targets 5,000 Stores by FY28
Eternal Limited, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, reported a 92% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹125 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with ₹65 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenue from operations grew approximately 78% to ₹24,138 crore, supported by the expansion of its quick-commerce business and continued growth in food delivery.
Consolidated adjusted EBITDA nearly tripled to ₹666 crore from ₹224 crore a year earlier, marking a 197% increase. Meanwhile, adjusted revenue rose 76% to ₹24,621 crore, although like-for-like growth stood at 58%, reflecting the impact of Blinkit's transition towards an inventory-led business model.
The results reveal Eternal's increasing reliance on quick commerce as a growth engine, even as the company expands its physical infrastructure and product assortment to compete for a larger share of India's retail spending.
