ENILINX's TICKEY Is a Modos-Driven, Espressif ESP32-S3-Powered Smart Ticket-Shaped ePaper Display
Four-person engineering startup ENILINX, formerly known as ENIAC, has launched its second crowdfunding project, this time turning a color ePaper display into a customizable "ticket" you can update over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi while sharing data over near-field communication (NFC) — and featuring Modos rapid-refresh and color-mixing technology: the TICKEY.
"The photos, ideas, and moments we care about often stay trapped on our phones. Once the screen goes dark, they are out of sight," ENILINX' Yihan Tong says of the company's inspiration. "At ENILINX, we build the things we want to use ourselves. TICKEY started with a simple frustration. We wanted a small color ePaper badge that felt considered rather than disposable: slim enough to carry, distinctive enough to feel personal, and quiet enough to live with every day.
