Emergent Raises $130 Million, Becomes Unicorn at $1.5 Billion Valuation

AI software creation platform Emergent has raised $130 million in a Series C funding round, valuing the company at $1.5 billion and taking it into the unicorn club nearly a year after its public launch.

The round was led by Creaegis, with Claypond Capital and Sentinel Global joining as co-lead investors. Existing investors Khosla Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Lightspeed and Y Combinator also participated.

The latest round takes Emergent’s total funding to $230 million. Its valuation has increased fivefold from the $300 million valuation reported during its $70 million Series B round in January 2026.

Emergent plans to use the fresh capital to expand its AI-based software development platform, which allows entrepreneurs, small businesses and users without coding experience to build full-stack web and mobile applications.
