Ellison in absentia as Oracle's new triumvirate releases strong full year numbers with apps and infrastructure growth

There was a definite ‘new world order’ vibe about Oracle’s latest earnings call last night with Larry Ellison nowhere to be seen as co-CEOs Mike Sicilia and Clay Magouyrk took full charge of the proceedings.

It was a solid set of numbers they were there to discuss. Q4 total revenue came in at $19.2 billion, up 21% year-on-year, while net income was $4.3 billion, up 26% from $3.4 billion. For the full year, revenue was $67.4 billion, up 17% year-on-year, with net income of $17.1 billion, up 37%.

Breaking those numbers down, Q4 total cloud revenue $9.9 billion, up 47% year-on-year, with 93% growth in Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) to $5.8 billion, and 10% growth in Cloud Applications (SaaS) to hit $4.1 billion.
