EduFund Launches Vittam To Help Financial Advisors Go Beyond Mutual Funds
As India's wealth management industry grows, financial advice is becoming more complex. Families today seek guidance that goes beyond choosing a mutual fund. They need support across education planning, insurance, loans, retirement, global investments, and wealth creation. For many, that advice still comes from a trusted Mutual Fund Distributor (MFD) or Independent Financial Advisor (IFA).
Recognising this shift, EduFund has launched Vittam, a financial distribution platform designed to help MFDs and IFAs offer a broader range of financial services while reducing the operational burden behind the scenes.
The launch comes nearly a year after EduFund raised $6 million in a Series A funding round led by Cercano Management and MassMutual Ventures. While the company began by helping families save for children's education, it has since expanded into a broader financial planning platform serving more than 300,000 families.
