Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered is one of the most thoughtful and forward-thinking remasters I’ve played in some time. The original game, warts and all, is intact, but some light quality-of-life touches freshen up the experience without detracting from its intended feel.
Reasons to buy
- +Tons of characters to unlock
- +Replayability through higher difficulties and hidden objectives
- +New gameplay features polish up the experience
- +Corny dialogue and that excellent soundtrack are fully intact
- +Satisfyingly challenging
Reasons to avoid
- -Some maps are a slog to get around
- -Newcomers might not gel with enemy aggression
