Dreamforce 2026 - partnering to provide Foward Deployment Engineer capabilities to the Salesforce customer base
When you attend Dreamforce, you get to meet a wide range of Salesforce partners who, once the jamboree of main stage announcements is over, will be tasked with working alongside customers to implement all the new technologies and products.
One such partner is Nagarro, an Indian heritage software development and consulting company, set up in 1996. In 2011 the company was acquired by a German holding company and then in 2020 gained independent listing. In June this year Indian digital engineering firm Persistent Systems announced a voluntary public takeover bid to acquire Nagarro for roughly $1.45bn, an offer that will likely be approved next month.
Nagarro is one of around 30 firms that are Salesforce FDE (Forward Deployment Engineers) partners. I took the opportunity to speak with Viyom Jain MD and Global Business Head, Enterprise Products @ Nagarro to find out how it approached this type of partnership.
