Salesforce has secured IL5 authorization for its Missionforce National Security platform, opening up the opportunity for the US Department of War (DOW) to deploy autonomous AI agents across its most sensitive, unclassified systems, freeing the military from routine administration and back to their core mission.
Launched last September, Missionforce was positioned as focusing on embedding AI into defense workflows across personnel, logistics, and decision-making. It is headed up by Kendall Collins as CEO of Government Cloud, who said at the time of launch:
