New research from Capgemini finds that augmented engineering (the convergence of digital continuity and AI to create connected, intelligent, and adaptive engineering environments) is emerging as a new source of competitive advantage in Aerospace and Defense (A&D) engineering. However, only six percent of aerospace and defence firms have achieved the digital continuity needed to scale AI as most organizations still lack the connected data, workforce readiness and governance needed to scale it across the full engineering lifecycle.
