Dolby Vision 2 Debuts On These 2026 Hisense TVs With Free Update

Dolby Vision 2 is finally moving beyond trade show demonstrations and into consumer living rooms. Dolby Laboratories and Hisense announced that the next-generation high dynamic range (HDR) format is officially rolling out to select 2026 Hisense televisions via a free over-the-air firmware update, which will arrive over the coming weeks across North America, Europe, and APAC.

The release marks the first time Dolby Vision 2 has hit actual retail hardware since Dolby initially teased the updated standard late last year, and is the first phase of what Dolby Laboratories promises will be a broader rollout, presumably to more brands, as well as other Hisense models.

Supported 2026 Models and Hardware Limits
