diginomica digital careers report - Will AI threaten digital leadership?

Quite rightly, there has been significant focus on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) will impact entry-level jobs, but the impact of AI will be felt at all levels of the business. Digital leaders are far from immune, and as a group of them recently debated, just like the youngsters trying to get a foot on the employment ladder, there are threats as well as opportunities.

The one difference is that digital leaders must also remember the second word in the job title - leader - and be responsible for the impact of AI on the society the firm operates within.

Mivy James, CTO of the UK Ministry of Defence, speaking with me on a panel at the recent CIO 200 event at the Said Business School in Oxford, summed up the situation she and gathered peers share:
